A new version of the Fluent Bit package has been released with a fix for CVE-2024-4323. Follow the recommended procedures to update the Infrastructure agent:

Changed

• Update Fluent Bit to version 3.0.4 as a fix for CVE-2024-4323, which impacted certain prior Fluent Bit versions contained in the Infra-agent log forwarder solution.
• Bump nri-flex to v1.13.0 (https://github.com/newrelic/infrastructure-agent/pull/1860)

A new version of the agent has been released. Follow standard procedures to update the Infrastructure agent. New Relic recommends that you upgrade the agent regularly and at a minimum every 3 months. As of this release, the oldest supported version is Infrastructure agent 1.42.0.
