Uninstall the Python agent

This document explains how to uninstall the Python agent. For instructions on how to temporarily disable the agent, see Disable the agent.

To uninstall your Python agent:

1. Use one of these methods:

   • If you installed with PIP, run:

     bash

     $
     pip uninstall newrelic

   • If you installed with easy_install, run:

     bash

     コピー

     $
     easy_install -m newrelic

2. When the uninstall process finishes, restart your app.
